Paul Siple's Antarctic Adventure and the Wind Chill Factor In-Person
Paul Siple, one of Erie's own son's and father of the Wind Chill Factor, was one of the first Boy Scouts to explore Antarctica with Admiral Byrd. Librarian Rachel Stevenson will discuss Siple's explorations with Byrd and parts of his later life while Meteorologist Tom Atkins will discuss the Wind Chill Factor, what it means, and how it affects Erie.
Free and open to the public.
