Teen Reading Lounge In-Person
This is not your average book club! Teens help in planning, leading discussions and choosing books. TRL is free and you get to keep the books. This book club is for teens that like to read books, learn about themselves and others. Teens will identify their sparks and create a community project that speaks to their interests related to the books they choose. Each meeting will include a book discussion, activity and snack. This is an eight-week session and teens are encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible.
Free. Ages 13-18 in grades 8-12. Registration is required at https://events.erielibrary.org/
Teen Reading Lounge is a program of PA Humanities, the Federal-State Partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities, developed in part by federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.
