3D Printed Scale Mail In-Person
Learn how to make 3D printed chain mail and scale mail for costumes, cosplays, or just for fun! We will discuss different methods for 3D printing costume armor, then we will submit a special scale mail 3D print project. Scale mail is a kind of armor created by attaching individual "scales" onto a piece of cloth. Choose from several scale mail patterns, then learn how to 3D print your mail directly onto a piece of mesh fabric. After class is over, the Idea Lab will print your mail and contact you when it is finished.
Age range 13 to Adult. Registration required. This class requires basic computer skills.
