Spring Skywarn In-Person
If you’re interested in spring and summer storms, Meteorologist Tom Atkins will be hosting a Spring SKYWARN training session. It is a comprehensive presentation developed by the National Weather Service covering spring and summer storms in our area, and how they develop, form, and threaten lives and property. Learn how you can be part of reporting it to the Weather Service. It is free and open to the public and will last approximately an hour and a half and there will be time for questions after the class. We'll take a look at lightning, hail, tornados, and other forms of damaging winds and flooding.
Sponsored by the Friends of Erie County Public Library, Public Safety, and a grant from the American Library Association
