Addressing the Opioid Crisis in Erie and Pennsylvania: Examining Local and State Level Responses In-Person

Over 130 people die every day in the United States from some type of opioid overdose. The opioid crisis in the United States is real and is affecting all areas of the country. Join Pennsylvania Representative Jim Struzzi, who has sponsored legislation to address the crisis, along with members of the Erie County Health and Public Library departments, as they discuss clean needle exchanges and the opioid crisis in Erie County, Pennsylvania, and how it has affected public libraries.

This is a lunch and learn with lunch for $5. Please register at the Jefferson Educational Society website so they know how many lunches are needed.
