Join our special guest and local NASA Geologist, Nick Lang PhD.

On April 8th, 2024, the celestial dance between the Sun, Earth, and Moon will yield a something that will not be seen in North America again until 2044 – a total eclipse of the Sun. Come learn how and why this rare cosmic event occurs while also learning how to safely view it. Ways that YOU can contribute to better understanding the science of eclipses and the Sun will also be discussed.

There will be a hands on activity/ experiment for our school aged scientists.
