Maker in Residence: Modern Songwriting and Recording Workshop In-Person

Join local musician, Eric Hopper, for an introductory group workshop into modern songwriting, audio recording and production concepts.  Explore the general principles of recording using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) to bring ideas to life. Learn about concepts of multitrack recording and using virtual instruments. No experience or musical ability necessary. This is a beginner class for anyone interested in writing lyrics or music recording.

Registration preferred. Ages 16 to Adult. 

Meet the Maker:  Eric Michael Hopper is a professional songwriter and music producer. He has written and produced songs receiving airplay on some of the nation's largest radio stations, as well as jingles featured in advertisements for some of the most well known brands. Eric is passionate about how technology and the new media landscape is enabling a whole new generation of DIY content creators in the world of music, media and entertainment.
