THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Join us for a 4 session class on recaning chair seats! Participants will receive hands-on instruction in the art of chair caning, and will be able to recane their own chairs!

* Participants must provide their own chairs.

* We will be recaning the seats of chairs (not backs).

* Chairs must have been previously caned in a hole pattern (not grooves) around the perimeter of the seat.

* The entire chair seat will be recaned: we will not be repairing individual holes.

* It is strongly recommended that if participants desire to refinish the chair, this be completed prior to recaning.

* The library will provide all supplies and instructions.

Registration is required for this free program.
