The Psychology of Drug Use In-Person
Dr. Wayne Hawley, Professor of Psychology at PennWest University Edinboro, will discuss how psychology has proved useful for understanding the complex nature of drug use. He will cover underlying psychological factors that lead to drug use, drug dependency, and drug relapse. All of this will help develop a greater appreciation for the role psychology plays in identifying strategies to help stop problematic drug use.
