War and the Humanities: A Reading Group In-Person
Join a dynamic and varied reading group that uses both famous and lesser-known works of philosophy, fiction, poetry, and other humanities sources to explore the topic of war.
This group meets to discuss materials about war from humanities sources: fiction, poetry, memoir, and more. For October, we will be reading Looking for the Good War: American Amnesia and the Violent Pursuit of Happiness by Elizabeth Samet.
Registration is required for this free program. After registering, stop by the Edinboro Branch Library to pick up your copy of the book.
