Calling all community members: It's time to check out your local library! Join us for an evening of exploring your local library.

Learn about the magic that your library card unlocks, make a gift at our drop-in craft (or keep for yourself), hear a library story and explore our most popular databases. Staff are on-site and ready to answer all your burning library questions and to register first time library users (bring proof of residence in Erie County).

Join us for any part of the evening as your schedule allows.

Open House program includes:

4pm- Have you met Libby? No, not our own Miss Libby, the Libby app that connects patrons to a wide offering of ebooks, audiobooks, and even Extras. Join us to get started using this resource.

5pm- All ages are invited to craft along and explore the type of crafy programs our branches are known for. Take your pick from our button painting outlines or assemble a paper winter lantern. No registration required, and like all library programs, it's completely free.

5:30- While we finish our crafting, attendees will get to hear a story reading.

6pm- What's the hoopla with Hoopla?? Hoopla is the library's coveted streaming app that grants access to movies, music, comics, managizes and more. Install this on your smart device and start streaming instantly! We'll end the session with an overview of the library's other valuable databases and leave time for staff to answer your specific questions.
