Make a Juneteenth Bookmark

Make a Juneteenth Bookmark In-Person

Celebrate Juneteenth by designing your own bookmark featuring quotes from famous Black authors – plus take home a free book to keep! Participants can color in their bookmark designs with infusible ink markers, then heat press the design onto the bookmark and presto! Your art transfers onto the bookmark surface, and your bookmark is ready to use.

This is a free program. No registration required – just drop in at the Blasco Library's Idea Lab any time between 6pm and 7pm to participate. Ages 8 and up. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Books and bookmarks are available while supplies last.
