HistERIE week program proposals In-Person

Attention history programmers! Erie County Public Library is seeking partners to share local history with our patrons during HistERIE Week--a celebration of the history of Erie County, PA!

If you're a historical society, operate a historic building, have a deep Erie family history story, can teach others about historic trades, or know how to help others access their own histories, we want to partner! ECPL is actively accepting program proposals that explore Erie's hidden histories and bring them to life for our patrons. Check out what we've hosted in prior HistERIE weeks since 2022 for some inspiration.

If this sounds like something you or your organization wants to be involved in, complete the registration process below to submit your program proposal.

What is required:

*Programs must be free and open to the public.

*Programs must occur during HistERIE Week, June 13- June 21, 2025

Submit a program proposal to be an instructor or host/partner during HistERIE Week 2025. All programs must be free and open to the public (may be limited to a defined number of attendees). HistERIE Week 2025 will run from Friday June 13 through Saturday June 21. Events may occur at any time during these dates. Program Summary/Description. Include the delivery method of the program (in-person, virtual, self-guided), age restrictions, what attendees can expect, anticipated time length, etc. *

Preferred Program Date and Time: *

Program Location: An ECPL location, a reservable space at Blasco Library, historic site with permission from owner, your organization, online, or other. *

Program Needs: maximum attendees, collection items, early setup access, projector, podium, tables, chairs, etc. *

Program Supplies: If your program requires supplies for attendees to use, make, or take, ECPL may be able to purchase certain supplies. If this is something you need, submit this application asap. It may take time for approval, purchase, and delivery. *

Participant Bio: Please write a few sentences about you or your organization to add to the participant list. If you would like a website or contact information provided on this public list, please include it in your bio. *
