Folklore of Lake Erie Series: Run! The Lake Cow Is Coming!

Folklore of Lake Erie Series: Run! The Lake Cow Is Coming! In-Person

You've heard of the sea cow, but have you heard of the Lake Cow?

She may have ten heads. She may be known as Bessie. She may live in Lake Erie. She may be a lot of things, including the figment of some 19th-century people's imagination.

Local researcher and storyteller, Gary Wesman, will delight with this tale of the 10-headed lake cow in a program appropriate for children. Costumes encouraged for all ages! There may or may not be candy like Milk, Chocolate, Milk Duds, or Cow Tales! Or other delectible treats.

Registration is not required.

Can't make the program? Check out the book Folklore of Lake Erie
