Seniors Eating Well - Dietary Fat: Fact or Fiction? In-Person

This series of short lessons is designed with the interests and needs of older adults in mind. Developed in collaboration with seniors themselves, these classes are engaging, tasty, and fun. Whether you're looking to explore new topics, revisit familiar ones in a fresh way, or simply enjoy a fun and social learning experience, this series has something for you! Pick and chose the classes you want or come to the whole series.

As we get older, a lot of us have health concerns like heart disease, high cholesterol, Type 2 Diabetes, cancer, are overweight, or are at risk for these chronic diseases. This class will discuss dietary fats in your diet and help you gain the knowledge, ability, and motivation to make dietary changes to reduce saturated and trans fats and choose better sources of fat.
