Library Loops Book Club In-Person
Hey, knitters, crocheters, and fiber fans!
Come join us for Library Loops, a monthly book club where we try out books about knitting, crocheting, and fiber crafting. This month will be focused on washcloths, granny squares, and samplers: great for learning new stitches and skills without having to start a big project. At the end we’ll talk about whether we liked the book we were using, if it was easy to follow, and everyone can check some books out to take home with them.
This is not a class, so we won’t be teaching you how to knit or crochet. You don’t have to be an expert, but you should know how to chain or cast on and read a simple pattern. People might help one another out, but everyone will be working on their own project. There will be easy and hard patterns to pick from, so you can choose what fits your skill level and feels fun to you. We’ll have some yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks, but it’s best if you bring your own since our supply is limited.
Registration required. Ages 15 and up.
