Seniors Eating Well: All-Star Snacks

Seniors Eating Well: All-Star Snacks In-Person

This series of short lessons is designed with the interests and needs of older adults in mind. Developed in collaboration with seniors themselves, these classes are engaging, tasty, and fun. Whether you're looking to explore new topics, revisit familiar ones in a fresh way, or simply enjoy a fun and social learning experience, this series has something for you! Pick and chose the classes you want or come to the whole series.

In this program, you’ll learn how to pick healthful snacks using MyPlate — a simple guide that shows the right kinds of foods to eat every day. We’ll talk about how to choose nutrient-dense foods—these are foods that give your body lots of good stuff like vitamins, minerals, and energy without too many extra calories. This is especially important for older adults, who may not need as many calories, but still deserve strong, healthy food.
