Library 101 at Neighborhood Center In-Person
Learn how to get the most out of your library card!
Whether you're new to the library or just want to know how to do more than borrow books, join us for Library 101 and master the basics of being a library patron.
You'll learn how to:
- Manage your library account on the website
- Request an item so that it arrives at your preferred location and timeframe
- Reserve equipment and rooms at the library
- Navigate the most popular databases to borrow ebooks and audiobooks, plus read the daily newspaper
Plus, explore items available to loan with your library card (besides books).
This session takes place at the UPMC Neighborhood Center, 803 East Avenue, Erie, PA. No registration needed.
*January 20 session will tailor items for children. Kids get a free book while supplies last.
Library Cards are free to all residents of Erie County, Pennsylvania. Sign up at any Erie County Public Library location with proof of current address (State ID, Driver's License, Utility Bill, Lease/ Mortgage, Official Mail).
