Special Guest Storytime: KIDS ON THE BLOCK In-Person

Join us as we welcome the KIDS ON THE BLOCK, in partnership with the Barber National Institute, for a special storytime! Stick around after the show to meet the puppets!

The KIDS ON THE BLOCK are a tightly knit group of lovable puppets who have been entertaining and educating young audiences all over the country for three decades. The troupe is comprised of puppets, with and without disabilities, who offer kids the opportunity to learn about specific disabilities, as well as broader themes of friendship community building, the importance of expressing feelings, celebrating differences, and encourages kids to ask questions about disabilities that they may be afraid to ask someone they meet in public.

OUR GROUP OF PUPPETS INCLUDE INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE:
Down Syndrome | Hearing and Visual Deficits | Cerebral Palsy | Autism | ADHD | Epilepsy | Learning Disabilities

All children and families are welcome, no registration required.
