HistERIE: Erie's BEST "Original Side" Neighborhood Tour In-Person

Visit the neighborhood where "a town to be called Erie," began in 1795. Tour participants will observe historical highlights on the lower East Side during a walking tour with Bayfront East Side Task Force leaders. Sites include: the 3 Forts Memorial at the foot of Parade Street and three local churches that served as cultural pillars for the East Side's early residents: St. Hedwig's, Church of the Nativity, and St. Patrick's.

Participants should dress appropriately for weather and physical activity. 

Registration is recommended. 

Tour departs from and concludes at the BEST Neighborhood Office at 231 Parade Street, Erie, PA 16507. There is ample on-street parking in the vicinity.
