Create the States! Craft party and take-and-make In-Person
Cross the country this summer with Iroquois branch library! Each week during the Summer Reading Program, participants can pick up a special take-and-make packet featuring five states to color, decorate, and assemble.
Each state will also come with an educational fun fact card featuring interesting information such as state capitals, history, wildlife, and other important facts.
By the end of the summer, you’ll have collected all 50 states and created your very own extra big map of the United States!
New state sets will launch every Thursday morning in the community room, where coloring and craft supplies will be available for anyone who would like to work on their states at the library. Participants are welcome to drop in, relax, craft, and socialize while building their map week by week.
Missed a week? Previous state sets will remain available while supplies last so participants can catch up and complete their collection.
This free program is open to all ages.
