Bike Safety & Maintenance: Teen & Adult In-Person
Come learn about bike safety and maintenance with the PA Department of Transportation and Bert's Bikes and the Highway Safety Network! All attendees will receive a free bicycle helmet to take home. This class is targeted at teens and adults. For ages 5-12, please register for our morning bike class here.
- Learn safety basics such as helmet fitting and bicycle safety checks.
- Learn how to properly maintain and repair your bike.
- If weather permits, take your bike for a spin outside and learn about how to stay safe on the road.
If you have your own bike, please bring it with you! If not, you can still observe and learn from the class. If you bring a bike to class, please dismount and walk it into the building when you arrive.
Free. Registration required. The class will take place in the Blasco Library's Idea Lab. You can enter the class through the glass doors located just past the library's front desk on the right.
Ages 13 and up. Children under 15 must be supervised by a guardian. Please register all people planning to participate in the class. Guardians of children need not register unless they would also like to participate.
