Blasco Bookworms: The Problim Children

Blasco Bookworms: The Problim Children In-Person

Ages 8-11, Registration Required | Storytime Room

Join us for an interactive book club featuring Natalie Lloyd’s The Problim Children, a story that is a little bit Addams Family, a little bit Lemony Snicket, and a whole lot of fun! When their house in the Swampy Woods goes KABOOM, the seven Problim siblings move into their grandfather’s mysterious Lost Cove mansion. Once there, the Problims are swept up in a whirlwind of rumors, secrets, whispers about a hidden treasure, and—maybe—magic.

Participants will receive a free copy of The Problim Children to read between meetings. At our meetings, we’ll discuss the book and enjoy fun, hands-on activities that bring the story to life. Get ready to have a pancake party, KABOOM a science experiment, make a catapult, grow a moving plant, craft your own toot machine, and more.

Registration is required and space is limited. To register, please call (814) 451-6936 or visit the children's department at the Blasco Library.

Free and open to the public.
