Potionmaking 101 In-Person
Saturday, October 19th | 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Registration Required
Children Ages 8-12 | Storytime Room
Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble! Brew up some creepy concoctions perfect for sampling and sharing at Halloween. Participants will explore basic chemistry as we identify solutes, solvents, and mixtures. Then it’s bottoms up as we stir and sip Swamp Solution, Essence of Chameleon, glowing Ghost Guzzler, and more.
Potionmakers will leave with spells—err, recipes—for recreating the drinks at home. Feel free to come in costume!
*Please register! Visit events.erielibrary.org or call (814) 451-6936.
