Blasco Bookworms: The Snow Queen

Blasco Bookworms: The Snow Queen In-Person

*Saturday, November 16th |  2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Children Ages 7-12 | Storytime Room

Join us for a special mini session of Blasco Bookworms! Participants will explore Hans Christian Andersen’s original fairy tale, The Snow Queen. Learn about the classic story that inspired Disney’s Frozen, the White Witch from C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia, and more.
Participants will receive a free copy of the translated fairy tale to read at home before attending the event. At our meeting, we’ll explore the story through discussion and hands-on activities. Get ready to craft a mosaic snowflake, sample some Turkish delight, watch clips from Snow Queen-inspired movies, play wintry games, and more.

If your child has never attended a library book club, now is a great time to jump in!
