Curious About: Santa Claus In-Person

Santa Claus. Father Christmas. Père Noel. Kris Kringle. So many people love jolly old Saint Nick, but how much do you know about his story and the worldwide traditions it inspired?
Sip some hot cocoa while you learn about how children in different cultures celebrate Santa and related figures, including Italy’s La Befana, Germany’s Krampus, and Russia’s Snow Maiden. We’ll also play some festive games, experiment with fizzing coal, and make an ornament in honor of your favorite holiday figure.
Parents, please be aware that children will be asked to respect others’ belief in Santa and/or any of the other Christmas figures we discuss. Please have a conversation with your child about this rule before registering.
