Blasco Bookworms: Cardboard Kingdom In-Person

Join us for an interactive book club featuring The Cardboard Kingdom, a graphic novel by Chad Sell! Follow a neighborhood of adventurers who use their imaginations to transform ordinary boxes into castles and costumes. This is the story of sixteen kids who encounter knights and rogues, robots and monsters--and their own inner demons--on one last quest before school starts again.
Participants will receive a free copy of The Cardboard Kingdom to read before our meeting. Then we’ll get together to discuss the story and create our own cardboard kingdom. Bring your imagination and a homemade cardboard costume! If you don’t have cardboard costume supplies at home, that’s okay. We will provide some, but you might prefer to spend your time building and playing.
