Family Book Box: The Undefeated In-Person

Recognize and celebrate Black History Month with an interactive family book box. Each kit includes a book for your family to own and read together, four interactive activities, and additional information from local organizations who are also excited to celebrate Black history! Supplies are limited! One Box per household, please.

The Undefeated by Kwame Alexander and Kadir Nelson is a poetry picture book celebrating strength, recognizing inequity, and highlighting Black American historical figures. This gorgeous piece won the Coretta Scott King Award and the Caldecott Medal, in addition to recognition as a Newbery Honor work. One box per household. Please sign up for the box that most reflects the interest of your family.
