Family Birding Kit In-Person

Registration opens May 1st -May 7th.

Are you a "Birder" or interested in learning about birds, migration and identification. The Family Bird Watching Kit is a free take-home family experience from your library! Each kit contains information and supplies for hands-on activities including creating your own binoculars, birding journal, feeder, stickers, maps and more. Everything is yours to keep.

IMPORTANT!  Kits does include bird seed for those with allergy concerns.

Supplies are limited! One Family Bird Watching kit per household, please. This kit is recommended for ages 3-99. Most activities are focused on school aged children and tweens.

The Bird Watching Kits is made possible with the support of the Friends of the Erie County Public Library. A special thank to the DCNR at Presque Isle State Park, Purple Martin Conservation Association, Asbury Woods, and The Bird School Project.

IMPORTANT! Boxes must be delivered first to the location of your choice and are not available for immediate pickup. Please wait for a delivery notification before coming to get your box. This notification is different from the automated message you will receive upon successfully registering.
