Teen Stop Motion Animation Workshop In-Person
This workshop will demonstrate stop motion animation techniques and provide the art supplies to make your own character for your film. Stop motion is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when played as a continuous sequence. Using a free app with a cell phone or tablet, you can use any objects, paper cutouts, clay-anything to make your short film!
Learn how to make your own stop motion animation video using a free app for your phone or tablet. We will help you create your story board and characters for your video. Complete your video and enter it to win prizes in the Teen Stop Motion Video Contest by November 5th.
Registration is required. Space and materials are limited. Free program for teens, age 13-18 years old, in grades 8 through 12. For more information contact the Teen Services Department at Teenspace@eriecountypa.gov or (814)451-6904.
