Sign up for the upcoming book box featuring Newbery Award winning author Erin Entrada Kelly's Blackbird Fly! In the author's debut novel, middle schooler Apple feels isolated from her classmates, bullied for her Filipino roots and her taste in classic music. Feeling alone, she turns to The Beatles, saves up for a guitar, and tries her hardest to make new friends and believe in herself. This book box will include lots of Beatlemania activities, information to highlight Filipino American History Month, and of course, a copy of the book. It's perfect for families with a child ages 8 to 12 who likes music or is working on becoming their true self.
