DNA Testing for Genealogy
The Erie Society for Genealogical Research DNA Special Interest Group will be meeting 9 June 2022 at 6pm in the Community Classroom of the Blasco Library. The presentation will include a brief overview of commercial DNA testing to include the different kinds of tests and the major testing companies for anyone who has never taken a test. It will also focus on using DNA test results for family history research and introduce some useful tools to help guide the tester.
This is a basic introductory presentation appropriate for everyone whether you have taken a DNA test or not and is free and open to the public.
