Homeschool Happy Hour: The Story of Chocolate In-Person

Happy Choc-tober, homeschool friends! Join us at the Iroquois Branch Library as we explore the history, science, and flavors of the chocolate-making process. This program will include a read-aloud story, a bean-to-bar lesson on the history and science of chocolate, a comparative sampling of a few types of chocolate, and an interactive chocolate activity.

Registration required for each child (Accompanying adults need not register).

 

Note: This program is designed for 6-12 year olds, but all children who are able to focus on the presenter and maintain attention and respectful behavior in an informal classroom setting for the duration of the program are welcome.
