Build a Bot Challenge

Build a Bot Challenge In-Person

As we "gear" up for Erie Makes Week, we are holding a Build a Bot Challenge for kids ages 6-12! This is an art challenge to make a robot design with a list of approved materials: wood blocks, pipe cleaners, pompoms, popsicle sticks, feathers, googly eyes, markers, glue, tape, foam, felt, construction paper, bottle caps, aluminum foil, bolts, springs, gears, washers, paper clips, paper towel rolls, paper/plastic cups and buttons. You can submit a photo of your finished bot  for the challenge. Winner will be announced during Erie Make. Check out all the events going on during Erie Makes here

Build-A-Bot take and make bags will be avaiable while supplies last. Don't want to make at home? Attend this Build A Bot session at the Iroquois Branch Library on Thursday, October 13th at 3:30pm to make your entry. All supplies will be provided.

No need to register, just drop in!
