Local Author Event: Escape to the Garage

Local Author Event: Escape to the Garage In-Person

Join local author Aimee Eddy in the Blasco Peninsula Room as she talks about her book Escape to the Garage: Family Love Overcomes Bullying. In this heartfelt memoir, Eddy recalls the ableist bullying she encountered from both teachers and students and how her family's garage provided her with a place of refuge. As an adult, Eddy has become an outspoken voice against bullying. Join us in the Blasco library's Peninsula Room to hear Eddy discuss writing her memoir and bullying prevention.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested but not required. Drop-ins are welcome.
