DESCRIPTION:Children are invited to come and refine their reading skills 
 with the most engaged audience imaginable: a therapy dog!\n\nAll children 
 are welcome to come and read to a therapy dog! Join Willie Nelson or Skye 
 and practice your reading skills. Therapy dogs are gentle\, 
 non-intimidating listeners who are always happy to hear a story (or 10!) 
 from readers of all skill levels. Reading aloud to a dog has proven to be a 
 useful means of encouragement for reluctant readers.\n\nIf that time 
 doesn't work well for you\, consider reading to a therapy dog at a 
 different time at the Lincoln Community Center.
